Solkyri are an instrumental rock band from Sydney, Australia.
Formed in 2006, the group deliver moments that blend intense vulnerability with pure power built around the interplay of guitars and driving rhythms, with nods to math-rock, shoegaze and ambient music.
In March 2020, the band will prepare to release their long-awaited third full length record titled 'Mount Pleasant'. With ‘Mount Pleasant’ the band strives to push the boundaries of both sides of its personality, its unyielding energy and its tender moments of intimacy. ‘Mount Pleasant’ is the culmination of years of personal reflection and rediscovery of passion.
