B L U R BSydney instrumental post-rock quartet Solkyri have released a film clip to their new single titled ‘Pendock & Progress’.
The group have honed their energetic style of post-rock on this powerful and ‘to the point’ instrumental. The track is laden with pop melodies and is built around the interplay of crushing guitars and driving rhythms, with nods to math-rock, shoegaze and noise music.
The band will embark on a joint European & UK tour with fellow post-rock maestros We Lost the Sea in May-June 2020. The tour includes a performance at the prestigious Dunk! Festival in Belgium as well as club shows in London, Paris, Berlin & Rome.
The forthcoming third LP Mount Pleasant is out March 6 via Bird’s Robe Records (AU) and Dunk! Records (EU)
